It is a known fact in San Angelo that Rodeo Parade Day weather isn't suppose to be nice. Needless-to-say, no one was disappointed by the weather on Saturday, Feb. 21. As the cold winds whipped around the downtown area, seven cadets stood ready to march in the parade.
With less then 10 hours practice Cadets Master Sergeant Cody McCallum and Brian DeLaughter, Technical Sergeant Christopher Levesque, and Airman Basic Solie Espinoza, Daniel Harper, Luke Harper, and Casey Lauer braved the cold winds and marched in the parade. The squadron's color guard marched behind color guards from Fort Concho and ahead of the Junior ROTC classes from Central and Lakeview High Schools. There display of professionalism during the parade as representatives of the San Angelo Composite Squadron was an inspiration. |
