June Squadron Activities Continue |

June continued the busy trend for TX-023. On 22 June, cadets and seniors attended "Venus: Earth's Fiery Twin" at the Angelo State Planetarium. Not only visually pleasing, the program was educational.
Cadet/Airman First Class (C/A1C) Matthew Barnes and Cadet/Airman (C/Amn) Cody McCallum briefed TX-023 cadet and senior members on their activities while attending the Texas Wing Summer Encampment in Paris, Texas from 17-23 June. Highlights were the Bradley Armored Personnel Carrier ride, obstacle course, and the Cadet Olympics ultimate Frisbee competition. They also briefed of the numerous uniform inspections.
