Just like the Air Force, once the Emergency Services (ES) or ground team badges are earned, they can be worn forever. The ES patch requires a member to be current and qualified though, which means that once a member is no longer qualified they are supposed to remove the ES patch.

Next activity 9 July, 1830 hours - Weekly meeting, Bldg. 900, GAFB UNIFORM: BDUs Cadets will be performing monthly academic testing. In addition, they will have the opportunity to meet and talk to TSgt Condon, a CAP Spaatz Award recipient! UPDATE: New pictures of the cadets from the last weekly meeting (2 Jul 09) are now posted here.

We need ENERGETIC YOUTHS ages 12 (attending 6th grade) through 18 to be LEADERS, RESCUERS, and who are FOCUSED (or desire to be) on EXCELLING IN LIFE! We have a "go at your desired pace" program that teaches TEAMWORK, PROBLEM-SOLVING, AND HANDS-ON TRAINING! DISCIPLINE, PROMOTIONS, and AIR AND SPACECRAFT EDUCATION are our OPPORTUNITIES for you!

Adults 19+ can become Senior Members and can get involved by sponsoring their own Cadets in the program or just helping out the San Angelo (and surrounding areas) local community.
